She resides in Karachi and graduated in Painting and Miniature Painting from the National College of Arts in 1991. She later earned a Master's in Art Education from Beaconhouse National University, Lahore, in 2014. Presently, she is working as the Head of the Fine Arts Department at a prestigious college in Karachi.

In my artistic practice, I invite viewers into a scene in flux—one that is constantly evolving, where each moment is both witnessed and rewritten. I want people to find comfort in uncertainty, embracing the ever-shifting nature of experience. My work navigates the rich tapestry of layered human emotions, exploring the interplay between identity, memory, and symbolic expression.
It is an introspective journey into personal and collective histories, where each piece becomes a canvas for fragmented yet interconnected stories that shape us. Through a fusion of visual and textual elements, I seek to unravel the complexities of identity and the echoes of the past, revealing how these forces intertwine to form our present selves.
My art is a dialogue with time—an invitation to reflect on the continuous evolution of who we are. By observing multiple realities, unseen forces, and quiet moments of revelation, I explore how perception is always in negotiation, shaped by coexisting perspectives.
