Full Artist Biography
I am an Indian visual artist working primarily in oil and acrylic on stretched canvas and heavyweight 300gsm matte paper. My practice is centered on painterly realism and guided by the Slow Art philosophy—a deliberate, contemplative approach that prioritizes light, texture, and emotional depth over rapid production.
Deeply connected to my home region of Karjat, Maharashtra, my body of work spans several core thematic series:
* Rural Landscapes: Serene, atmospheric compositions inspired by the quiet beauty, changing light, and natural rhythms of the Karjat countryside.
* Ashva Series: A dynamic collection exploring the power, movement, and grace of horses through expressive brushwork and rich texture.
* Indian Flower Markets: Vibrant, sensory explorations capturing the rich colors, movement, and communal life of traditional floral bazaars.
* The Innocence of Children: A poignant figurative series dedicated to capturing simple, unscripted moments and pure expressions of childhood.
My exhibition history includes presentations at premier institutions such as Jehangir Art Gallery and The Taj Art Gallery.

Equine Energy & Metaphor (Ashva Series): In the Ashva series, the horse serves as a cosmic allegory for unrestrained freedom, raw kinetic force, and spiritual illumination. Through layered oil and acrylic applications, I capture the spirit, fluid motion, and atmospheric aura of the equine form.
Humanity & Cultural Heritage: Through figurative series such as The Innocence of Children alongside vivid depictions of traditional Indian flower markets, I explore unguarded human emotion, simple moments, and the vibrant sensory textures of heritage.
Rural Dignity & Earth Alignment: Inspired by the serene landscapes of Karjat, my land and atmospheric studies reflect a quiet reverence for rural life, capturing moments where human pre
