Art Central, Hong Kong. 2025, A Solo Presentation by Fumani Maluleke
The exhibition "Matsalwa (Scrolls)" draws inspiration from ancient forms of record-keeping, such as scrolls and the Japanese Mamikono, emphasizing the continuity of wisdom and culture across civilizations. Maluleke's work “Ti phuphu” exemplifies this concept, using the grass mat as a metaphor for the scroll—a vessel for knowledge that can be rolled, stored, and passed on. The piece evokes the intangible truths embedded in cultural memory, suggesting that wisdom flows like a river, connecting past and present, individual and collective experiences.

"Talibé" a solo exhibition by Saleh Lô
Mwimbi Fine Art x Artbridger inaugurates a dynamic gallery space with Saleh Lô’s Talibé—a project that transcends borders and disciplines. At the heart of the show is a constellation of tomato paste cans, reimagined as both objects of memory and markers of global exchange. Through these considered interventions, Lô centers the lived realities of Mauritania’s Talibé children, implicating the interconnected flows of commodity, capital, and history that shape individual lives and communities. This exhibition stands as both a challenge and invitation: to witness, to question, and to participate in an art discourse where witnessing becomes an act of resistance.
