“Mt Anonymous” is a work that combines Western oil painting technique with Chinese ink painting aesthetics. It is painted in deep distance or perspective in depth as if looking across at this mountain from another. It gives the impression of repetition of planes formed mainly by horizontal marks that emulate the marks made by brusk and ink that taper from thick, heavy and dark at one end to thinner at the other. The work also includes an area of shading in purple and grey hues and is set off against a deep dark blue sky.
