As an artist, I find myself constantly immersed in the world of overthinking, and this theme becomes a central focus in my works. Thought bubbles, appearing throughout my creations, serve as symbolic representations of the swirling ideas and emotions that occupy our minds.
SIUKINS(Chiu Ka Kin) is a Hong Kong based artist who often explores the theme of Overthinking in his creations. Through introspection and personal experiences, he continuously delves into the relationship between thoughts and individuals, as well as the complexities of human emotions. His works are deeply influenced by Japanese art and design aesthetics, and the recurring thought bubbles represent the swirling ideas and emotions in one's mind, presenting intangible cluttered thoughts in an engaging and playful manner before the audience. The characters he portrays often emanate a sense of detachment, and combined with his signature bubbles and colors, SIUKINS depicts a new worldview that is uniquely his own.
