“A taste of longing” is an abstract work in warm and earthy tones made up of a welter of wide lines that writhe and squirm their way across the canvas. Touches of black help give parts of the work volume and structure.
"A Taste of Longing" captures the essence of a bittersweet moment in the context of the migration wave in Hong Kong. This exquisite artwork portrays a dish of vibrant blue curry, meticulously prepared by me as a farewell gesture to my elder sister before she embarked on a new chapter of her life in Canada.
