A beautifully rendered piece that told a poignant story about family. Sharon had used perspective expertly to create a sense of depth and space within the composition, while the use of a muted colour palette added a touching sense of melancholy to the overall piece. The brushstrokes were confident and bold, conveying a sense of emotion and movement that perfectly complemented the narrative being conveyed.
When I was a child, I told my dad I wanted a chick. On my birthday, my dad said my present was in the car boot. When I opened it, it turned out there was a big hen looking at me, calmly. The unexpected arrival of the hen, Kikoo, became my first pet and we developed a bond. However, during another birthday, an unfortunate incident occurred and I lost Kikoo.Back then, I didn't understand and even resented my dad. But now, looking back, the resentment has faded away. Perhaps that was simply my dad's pure love for me.
