This piece really showcases the artist's talent in conveying emotions. The somber yet enigmatic purples seem to spark a chemistry with the figures. The way she handles the hair and background is quite masterful. When the figure in the painting locks eyes with you, the atmosphere becomes subtly ambiguous. I love that feeling.
