“Detention” depicts a dark ominous space lit from above with a door slightly ajar in the background. The subject is the basis for exploring graduated tones within a very limited range. The result is almost abstract, but our attention keeps being drawn back to the angular geometry of the composition.
Because of the fetters, I still miss this space.
