Oak Gall Ink on Khadi paper
A third piece to my series of fresco-like portals, I assembled Central and South American, African and Oceanic Gods and creatures, as they engaged in debate on how to reconstruct new realities after the burst of human existence after harvesting the exploded fragments of sentience. I aim to bring out lesser-known cultures in conjunctions with more well-known mythologies to show that they demand the same level of respect from us, and that they also shaped the interconnectivity of our beings. By putting mythologies and lineages of different disciplines together, I acknowledge the importance of mythology and the unknown to helping us understand the purpose and roles of every division of existence, and that nobody can be independent of one another.
