Fragments of a Star explores the tension between impact and creation, the instant a celestial body collides and transforms into light. Metallic forms emerge from the textured surface, suggesting a meteor bursting through layers of space and time. Through the interplay of bronze, silver, and traces of deep indigo, Wong evokes the sensation of fragments scattering into the cosmos, yet still bound by an unseen rhythm. The work reflects her fascination with how energy persists after rupture, how even in pressure and chaos, the universe continues to pulse with renewal.
