In “Mountain Forging” a rough hewn form like a clod of earth floats in a room vividly lit with projections onto the walls in acid red and purples. Rather incongruously, the only actual light is a singe hemispherical light fitting mounted on the ceiling. The surface of the clod form is made up of overlapping shapes like dripping wax painted in dark green and black but with touches of bright green pink purple and blue. The top of the clod shape yawns open like a gaping wound, sexual and biological.
