“My Inside” is a fresh and insightful take on the subject of self portrait. The artist has depicted herself as only a pair of eyes, peering into the image through a rectangular slot. What she sees, and what she shows us, is a jumble of blocks, some ordered regularly and others scattered about. It is an innovative and effective way of conveying some of the interior complexity of an individual.
我們因思緒也許很亂,而不斷地進行分類。 簡化它們以促進溝通。 但框架由誰決定呢? 技術?你的周遭環境? 你自己?我們是由這些框架/理想的立方體組成的。 Because our thoughts may be chaotic, we are constantly classifying them. Simplify them to facilitate communication. But who decides the framework? technology? Your surroundings? yourself? We are made of these frames/ideal cubes.
