“Plainwater 13” a glowing red ball that softens as it feathers into orange at its edges catches the eye in the upper left. Reading this a sun helps the rest of the image to coalesce into a vertiginous landscape. A rocky outcrop in purple through mauve with touches of green and yellow overlooking a precipitous drop with a darker tone of blue suggesting some form of safe haven on the right. This is an image that is suggestive of the sublime.
