“Stay Positive” depicts three figures, as if they were all herms - the sculptural motif of a square column topped with a portrait bust that was used to mark the boundaries of territories in ancient Greece. None of them have hair or ears. Two are in strict profile, the third turned slightly towards us, two of the figures sketchily drawn stand with heads bowed. The third, in the centre, gazes out at us with a searching expression. It is a poignant, mysterious work.
