“Worrying the Worries in the Worry Hole” is a three-quarter length nude study of a young woman, supine, her back arched as she slides backwards down into a hole. One views this work with a sense of hopelessness. We can see exactly what this young woman is going through but may not really understand it and may feel powerless to do anything about it. But recognition is a crucial first step towards helping those who suffer to cope.
