This exhibition brings together three artists working across the Indian diaspora, each using an inherited material, whether textile, sacred language, or the body, not to illustrate identity, but to actively reconstruct it. Each artist holds a different distance from India: two shaped by inheritance alone, one by upbringing. Rather than smoothing these differences into a single narrative, this exhibition presents them side by side: Delhi and Denton, craft and scripture, confrontation and devotion. What unites the three is not where they come from, but how they work, remaking what has been handed down to them, on their own terms.

About the artists
Baseera Khan is a New York-based artist working across sculpture, painting, performance and music, treating material itself as a form of politics. Their work is held in the permanent collections of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, the Whitney Museum of American Art and the Brooklyn Museum.
Keerat Kaur is a Canadian artist of Sikh-Panjabi heritage and a licensed architect. Rooted in the written word, she draws on Sikh storytelling and Indic philosophies to create surreal, devotional imagery across painting, sculpture, music and public art.
Radhika Gupta-Buckley is a New York-based artist of Indian origin who paints the body as a site of prejudice and resistance. A former lawyer at the Indian Supreme Court and the UN in The Hague, she returned to art to be a voice for the silenced and the oppressed.
