Hong Wai's "Dream" from the One Life One Dream series delicately weaves the intricate threads of personal narratives and cultural reflections through the art of lace calligraphy. Through the artist's skillful manipulation of this traditional medium, the character "夢" (Dream) becomes a visual embodiment of Lily's inner conflict between past and present, homeland and adopted city.
