“Her Life” reads as a film still but one which is stuttering as if the film has become jammed in the projector. We see a moment of transition, where the scene changes from a rabbit in an Arcadian idyll, Cyprus pines casting soft shadows onto a footpath while the warm setting sun casts its glow across the landscape beyond. The scene changes to the head and shoulders of a figure in a green t-shirt, seen only in strips, but with an entire conversation spelt out in subtitles.
