Ignition

Ignition embodies the instant when dormant energy bursts into being, a collision of heat, matter, and light that gives rise to new existence. Layers of molten red, amber, and metallic silver intertwine to suggest both destruction and genesis, movement and stillness existing in the same breath. Dynamic strokes radiate from the center like expanding shockwaves, while embedded metallic elements glint like fragments of a star mid-formation. Through this work, Wing Hei invites the viewer to witness transformation in its rawest state, the first spark of creation that ignites the cosmos.
