Maluleke’s mat is a site for aspiration and affirmation. "Africa I wun'we" asks what it may look and feel like to be many, to be united, to imagine a horizon where solidarity is carefully, collectively made.
Celebrating layered identities, "Africa I wun'we" weaves together motifs that evoke plural belonging. The surface is reflexive, at once personal and continental. Every choice—the rhythm of pattern, the resonance of pigment—suggests a vision of togetherness that can hold multiplicity without erasure.
