I am a multidisciplinary visual artist based in Beirut, Lebanon, specializing in charcoal, oil paint and mixed media. With a background in Graphic design and Fine arts from AUST, my practice explores themes of identity, memory, and the human life, blending abstraction with elements of realism. My work has been exhibited in many group shows in Lebanon and abroad, including notable venues such as Sursock museum. Over the years, I have been recognized with several certificates, including Pierre Sadek competition in 2018. In addition to studio practice, I participated in many symposiums and art fairs such as Kfardebian International forum and future artists and I have been featured in publications such as Multaka Alwan. Currently, I am developing new bodies of work that reflect a deep engagement with arabic culture and lifestyle.
Art, for me, is a language—one that speaks where words fall short. My work revolves around the human being and the world around him, often drawing from personal experiences and shared cultural narratives rooted in Middle Eastern identity. I’m deeply influenced by classical realism and abstract expressionism which shape both the concept and form of my practice. I often work with charcoal, oil paint and mixed media, favoring the tension between control and spontaneity. The contrast between abstraction and realism allows me to express complexity—what is seen versus what is felt. Each piece begins intuitively, with a sketch, a memory, or a fleeting emotion, then evolves through layers of mark-making, texture, and intentional distortion. My philosophy is to create art that invites pause—art that reflects our inner states and collective moments. I want the viewer not just to see, but to feel. Whether through fractured forms, symbolic elements, or raw surfaces, my goal is to make visible what often remains hidden: the fragments, the silences, the emotional echoes that define us.
