Etching print with chine colle
The top tier contains the Almagest, a human-centric viewpoint of the universe, proposed by Ptolemy is adorned by the remaining solar system entities. In the middle the deities of formlessness and concepts uphold the equilibrium of balances between alternate dimensions and reality. At the bottom the minor deities and undertakers are debating, working and rejoicing on the sentience. I am trying to speculate alternate orders that govern passage and existence; there needs balance between extremities in order for a correct functioning of processioning and manifestation. Any off-balance will result in catastrophic consequences that not even gods can salvage and everyone, not just the perpetrators, will suffer. The style within this print is influenced by extreme aesthetics, in which to overwhelm the audience, encouraging them to look at my drawing closer, and also eliminating the need for a narrative. It is this motive that I am trying to contradict its message mentioned above.
