"Have Forgotten no.7" is a haunting portrayal of abandonment and neglect within a bustling city. The cluster of facilities depicted in the artwork serves as a visual representation of the forgotten individuals in society. The gloomy atmosphere enveloping the scene evokes a sense of melancholy and isolation, highlighting the harsh realities faced by those who are overlooked and left behind in the midst of urban chaos. The positioning of the objects within the metro station emphasises the idea of people becoming lost in the hustle and bustle, their presence fading into the background of the city's relentless pace.
“Taxis over and over the mountain. The fact is drivers are busy with business. However, what I can see does not belong to here, not to now. I cannot ensure what actually happened at that time, but the scenes are in my mind indeed.” The series titled 'Have Forgotten' consists of 9 photo-etching prints, representing a cross-disciplinary approach that reflects upon the direct capturing of actuality through the medium of photography, followed by reworking the images through print-making. By editing the photographic images on the plate, a fusion of photography and drawing emerges. The cityscape may appear ordinary initially, but its inherent normality is intertwined with a profound emotional connection and memories of the city. The forgotten is never forgotten.
