I believe this artwork is a quintessential piece by the artist. The conveyed imagery is directly expressed in the title. In terms of content, it resembles a long-exposure blanket. The blurry sensation prompts viewers to speculate about the objects within the composition. This element of uncertainty is a crucial factor in the success of her artwork.
"Home” can refer to a specific place, as well as a person, a cat, a piece of furniture, or even scents and sounds—anything that brings a sense of familiarity and comfort. "Home" is a noun that should always enable us to return, but it is not eternal, and our understanding of it can also change. The artwork uses a pinhole camera to capture the flowing light through long exposures, imprinting it onto the same frame. These images are then transformed into prints, with the intention of preserving comforting scenes and freezing them in the present moment.
