Arme Chan

Arme's works are based on his close observation of everyday people going about their everyday lives, his work features fragmented images, which emphasize his theme of constriction and suffocation.

Born and grown up in Hong Kong. Moved to US in 90’s and graduated with a degree in Art Studio ( UC Davis ). Backed to Hong Kong in 1988 and up to now. I am looking for decent people in cramped environment and the future of “MYSELF”. I am very curious how living space affect people’s thinking and see how individual behavior reacting to insufficient living space. The idea comes from my experience in living of vast environment in the US and cramped space in Hong Kong.
