
Clinton is an art practitioner and researcher from Hong Kong; he obtained his master’s degree in the Global Art Practice, MFA program at Tokyo University of the Arts.
About the artist
Clinton’s creative intentions are driven mainly by the relationship between drawing and hand-writing, comprehending the functionality of language to compositions connecting the history of Chinese characters(Kanji) and self-reflections, comprehension and his mental state, interest in understanding oneself, and the relationship with his heritage and surroundings throughout his art practice with various mediums.
Research-wise, he’s also interested in discovering more perspectives and boundaries of drawing, language and writing, understanding the relationships between art, knowledge, and humanity through research.
